waqālū
وَقَالُوا۟
And they say,
hādhihi
هَٰذِهِۦٓ
"These
anʿāmun
أَنْعَٰمٌ
(are) cattle
waḥarthun
وَحَرْثٌ
and crops
ḥij'run
حِجْرٌ
forbidden,
لَّا
no (one)
yaṭʿamuhā
يَطْعَمُهَآ
can eat them
illā
إِلَّا
except
man
مَن
whom
nashāu
نَّشَآءُ
we will,"
bizaʿmihim
بِزَعْمِهِمْ
by their claim.
wa-anʿāmun
وَأَنْعَٰمٌ
And cattle,
ḥurrimat
حُرِّمَتْ
forbidden
ẓuhūruhā
ظُهُورُهَا
(are) their backs
wa-anʿāmun
وَأَنْعَٰمٌ
And cattle
لَّا
no (one)
yadhkurūna
يَذْكُرُونَ
they mention
is'ma
ٱسْمَ
(the) name
l-lahi
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
ʿalayhā
عَلَيْهَا
on it
if'tirāan
ٱفْتِرَآءً
(as) an invention
ʿalayhi
عَلَيْهِۚ
against Him.
sayajzīhim
سَيَجْزِيهِم
He will recompense them
bimā
بِمَا
for what
kānū
كَانُوا۟
they used to
yaftarūna
يَفْتَرُونَ
invent.

Wa qaaloo haaziheee an'aamunw wa harsun hijrun laa yat'amuhaaa illaa man nashaaa'u biza'mihim wa an'aamun hurrimat zuhooruhaa wa an'aamul laa yazkuroonas mal laahi 'alaihaf tiraaa'an 'alaih; sa yajzeehim bimaa kaanoo yaftaroon

Sahih International:

And they say, "These animals and crops are forbidden; no one may eat from them except whom we will," by their claim. And there are those [camels] whose backs are forbidden [by them] and those upon which the name of Allah is not mentioned – [all of this] an invention of untruth about Him. He will punish them for what they were inventing.

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

They say, “These are prohibited cattle and produce; none can eat them except those whom we wish” - so they claimed - “and there are cattle whose backs are prohibited (for riding or loading)”, and there are cattle over which they do not pronounce the name of Allah,-all being fabrications against Him. He will soon punish them for what they have been fabricating.
