خَاشِعَةً اَبْصَارُهُمْ تَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌ ۗوَقَدْ كَانُوْا يُدْعَوْنَ اِلَى السُّجُوْدِ وَهُمْ سَالِمُوْنَ   ( القلم: ٤٣ )

khāshiʿatan
خَٰشِعَةً
Humbled
abṣāruhum
أَبْصَٰرُهُمْ
their eyes
tarhaquhum
تَرْهَقُهُمْ
will cover them
dhillatun
ذِلَّةٌۖ
humiliation
waqad
وَقَدْ
And indeed
kānū
كَانُوا۟
they were
yud'ʿawna
يُدْعَوْنَ
called
ilā
إِلَى
to
l-sujūdi
ٱلسُّجُودِ
prostrate
wahum
وَهُمْ
while they
sālimūna
سَٰلِمُونَ
(were) sound

Khaashi'atan absaaruhum tarhaquhum zillatunw wa qad kaanoo yud'awna ilassujoodi wa hum saalimoon (al-Q̈alam 68:43)

Sahih International:

Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. And they used to be invited to prostration while they were sound. (Al-Qalam [68] : 43)

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

With their eyes downcast, they will be enveloped by ignominy. They used to be called upon to prostrate when they were healthy (but they did not.)
