وَّاَنَّا لَا نَدْرِيْٓ اَشَرٌّ اُرِيْدَ بِمَنْ فِى الْاَرْضِ اَمْ اَرَادَ بِهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ رَشَدًاۙ  ( الجن: ١٠ )

wa-annā
وَأَنَّا
And that we -
لَا
not
nadrī
نَدْرِىٓ
we know
asharrun
أَشَرٌّ
whether evil
urīda
أُرِيدَ
is intended
biman
بِمَن
for (those) who
فِى
(are) in
l-arḍi
ٱلْأَرْضِ
the earth
am
أَمْ
or
arāda
أَرَادَ
intends
bihim
بِهِمْ
for them
rabbuhum
رَبُّهُمْ
their Lord
rashadan
رَشَدًا
a right path

Wa annaa laa nadreee asharrun ureeda biman fil ardi am araada bihim rabbuhum rashadaa (al-Jinn 72:10)

Sahih International:

And we do not know [therefore] whether evil is intended for those on earth or whether their Lord intends for them a right course. (Al-Jinn [72] : 10)

and that we do not know whether it is a bad end that is intended for those on earth, or their Lord has intended for them a right thing,
