وَّاَنَّا كُنَّا نَقْعُدُ مِنْهَا مَقَاعِدَ لِلسَّمْعِۗ فَمَنْ يَّسْتَمِعِ الْاٰنَ يَجِدْ لَهٗ شِهَابًا رَّصَدًاۖ  ( الجن: ٩ )

wa-annā
وَأَنَّا
And that we

لِلسَّمْعِۖ

ٱلْءَانَ
now
yajid
يَجِدْ
will find
lahu
لَهُۥ
for him
shihāban
شِهَابًا
a flaming fire
raṣadan
رَّصَدًا
waiting

Wa annaa kunnaa naq'udu minhaa maqaa'ida lis'sam'i famany yastami'il aana yajid lahoo shihaabar rasada (al-Jinn 72:9)

Sahih International:

And we used to sit therein in positions for hearing, but whoever listens now will find a burning flame lying in wait for him. (Al-Jinn [72] : 9)

and that we used to sit at places therein to listen; but if one will (try to) listen now, he will find a flame in ambush for him,
