Al-Buruj Verse 12

Indeed, the ˹crushing˺ grip of your Lord is severe.

Indeed, the punishment of your Lord is severe.

Surely thy Lord's assault is terrible.

[Prophet], your Lord’s punishment is truly stern––

Verily the grip of thine Lord is severe.

Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord.

Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment.

The grip of your Lord is severe indeed!

Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe.

Indeed your Lord’s striking is severe.

Surely the grip of your Lord is indeed severe.

Terrible indeed is the seizing of your Lord.

That truly your Lord`s violent attack/destruction (is) strong (E) (severe).

Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe.

Verily, strong is the power of your Lord!

Verily, (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the Grip (Punishment) of your Lord is severe.

Surely He it is Who creates first and reproduces;

Surely the might of your Lord is great.

Lo! the punishment of thy Lord is stern.

The vengeance of God is terribly severe.

Indeed, the seizing of your Lord is severe.

Verily, the punishment of your Lord is severe and painful.

The grip of your Lord is indeed severe,

The onslaught of your Lord is severe.

Assuredly your Lord's assault, against the disbelievers, is severe, [as severe] as He will [it to be].

Verily, the punishment of your Lord is severe and painful.

meaning, indeed His punishment and His vengeance upon His enemies, who have rejected His Messengers, and opposed His command, is severe, great and strong. For verily, He is the Owner of power, Most Strong. He is the One that whatever He wants, then it will be however He wants it to be, in the matter of a blinking of an eye, or even swifter.

Thus, Allah says,

إِنَّهُ هُوَ يُبْدِيُ وَيُعِيدُ
