Al-Layl Verse 2

and the day when it shines!

and by the day when it appears,

and the day in splendour

by the radiant day,

By the day when it appeareth in glory,

By the Day as it appears in glory;

and by the day when it breaks in its glory,

And the day when it shines in all its glory,

And by oath of the day when it shines

by the day when it brightens,

And the day as it rises bright;

And the day when it becomes bright,

And/by the daytime when/if it uncovered/shined .

And by oath of the day when it shines

And the day when it is displayed!

And by the day as it appears in brightness;

And the creating of the male and the female! --

And the day when it shines in brightness,

And the day resplendent

by the day when it appears radiant,

and by the day when it unveils.

By the day as it appears.

and by the day as it appears radiantly,

And the day as it reveals.

and [by] the day as it unveils, [as] it is revealed and becomes manifest (idh, `as', in both instances is an absolute adverbial, operated by the verbal action of the oath),

By the day as it appears.

meaning, with its light and its radiance.

وَمَا خَلَقَ الذَّكَرَ وَالاُْنثَى
