وَيُسَبِّحُ الرَّعْدُ بِحَمْدِهٖ وَالْمَلٰۤىِٕكَةُ مِنْ خِيْفَتِهٖۚ وَيُرْسِلُ الصَّوَاعِقَ فَيُصِيْبُ بِهَا مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ وَهُمْ يُجَادِلُوْنَ فِى اللّٰهِ ۚوَهُوَ شَدِيْدُ الْمِحَالِۗ ( الرعد: ١٣ )
Wa yusabbihur ra'du bihamdihee walmalaaa'ikatu min kheefatihee wa yursilus sawaa'iqa fa yuseebu bihaa mai yashaaa'u wa hum yujaadiloona fil laahi wa Huwa shadeedul mihaal (ar-Raʿd 13:13)
English Sahih:
And the thunder exalts [Allah] with praise of Him – and the angels [as well] from fear of Him – and He sends thunderbolts and strikes therewith whom He wills while they dispute about Allah; and He is severe in assault. (Ar-Ra'd [13] : 13)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
Le tonnerre Le glorifie par Sa louange, et aussi les Anges, sous l'effet de Sa crainte. Et Il lance les foudres dont Il atteint qui Il veut. Or ils disputent au sujet d'Allah alors qu'Il est redoutable en Sa force. (Ar-Ra'd [13] : 13)

Le tonnerre glorifie et loue Son Seigneur. Les anges Le glorifient également par crainte, par vénération et par respect. En outre, Allah envoie la foudre consumer celles de Ses créatures qu’Il choisit pour les anéantir. Malgré cela, ils polémiquent au sujet de l’Unicité d’Allah… Allah est certes d’une force redoutable contre ceux qui Lui désobéissent.
