قَيِّمًا لِّيُنْذِرَ بَأْسًا شَدِيْدًا مِّنْ لَّدُنْهُ وَيُبَشِّرَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ الَّذِيْنَ يَعْمَلُوْنَ الصّٰلِحٰتِ اَنَّ لَهُمْ اَجْرًا حَسَنًاۙ ( الكهف: ٢ )
Qaiyimal liyunzira baasan shadeedam mil ladunhu wa yubashshiral mu'mineenal lazeena ya'maloonas saalihaati anna lahum ajran hasanaa (al-Kahf 18:2)
English Sahih:
[He has made it] straight, to warn of severe punishment from Him and to give good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a good reward [i.e., Paradise]. (Al-Kahf [18] : 2)

[Un Livre] d'une parfaite droiture pour avertir d'une sévère punition venant de Sa part et pour annoncer aux croyants qui font de bonnes œuvres qu'il y aura pour eux une belle récompense. (Al-Kahf [18] : 2)

Il fit plutôt du Coran un Livre droit, ne contenant aucune contradiction ni aucune incohérence, dont la finalité est de menacer les mécréants d’un châtiment sévère que leur réserve Allah et d’annoncer aux croyants qui accomplissent de bonnes œuvres, une nouvelle qui les réjouit, celle d’une récompense agréable et inégalée.
