وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَّشْرِيْ نَفْسَهُ ابْتِغَاۤءَ مَرْضَاتِ اللّٰهِ ۗوَاللّٰهُ رَءُوْفٌۢ بِالْعِبَادِ ( البقرة: ٢٠٧ )
Wa minan naasi mai yashree nafsahub tighaaa'a mardaatil laah; wallaahu ra'oofum bil'ibaad (al-Baq̈arah 2:207)
English Sahih:
And of the people is he who sells himself, seeking means to the approval of Allah. And Allah is Kind to [His] servants. (Al-Baqarah [2] : 207)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
Et il y a parmi les gens celui qui se sacrifie pour la recherche de l'agrément d'Allah. Et Allah est Compatissant envers Ses serviteurs. (Al-Baqarah [2] : 207)

Parmi les gens, il y a le croyant qui ne voue son âme qu’à l’obéissance de son Seigneur et à la lutte pour Sa cause afin d’obtenir Son agrément. Allah est d’une miséricorde sans fin envers Ses serviteurs et Compatissant à leur égard.
