فَجَعَلَهُمْ جُذَاذًا اِلَّا كَبِيْرًا لَّهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ اِلَيْهِ يَرْجِعُوْنَ ( الأنبياء: ٥٨ )
fajaʿalahum
فَجَعَلَهُمْ
So he made them
Et Il a ensuite fait (d’)eux
judhādhan
جُذَٰذًا
(into) pieces
des fragments
illā
إِلَّا
except
sauf
kabīran
كَبِيرًا
a large (one)
(pour) un qui est grand
lahum
لَّهُمْ
of them
à eux
laʿallahum
لَعَلَّهُمْ
so that they may
afin que peut-être ils
ilayhi
إِلَيْهِ
to it
vers lui
yarjiʿūna
يَرْجِعُونَ
return
retourneront.
Faja'alahum juzaazan illaa kabeeral lahum la'allahum ilaihi yarji'oon (al-ʾAnbiyāʾ 21:58)
English Sahih:
So he made them into fragments, except a large one among them, that they might return to it [and question]. (Al-Anbya [21] : 58)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
Il les mit en pièces, hormis [la statue] la plus grande. Peut-être qu'ils reviendraient vers elle. (Al-Anbiya' [21] : 58)
