ثَانِيَ عِطْفِهٖ لِيُضِلَّ عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ ۗ لَهٗ فِى الدُّنْيَا خِزْيٌ وَّنُذِيْقُهٗ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ عَذَابَ الْحَرِيْقِ  ( الحج: ٩ )

ثَانِىَ
Twisting
(en étant) tourneur
ʿiṭ'fihi
عِطْفِهِۦ
his neck
(du) côté de son cou (=par arrogance)
liyuḍilla
لِيُضِلَّ
to mislead
afin d’égarer
ʿan
عَن
from
de
sabīli
سَبِيلِ
(the) way
(la) voie
l-lahi
ٱللَّهِۖ
(of) Allah
(d’)Allâh.
lahu
لَهُۥ
For him
(Il y aura) pour lui
fī
فِى
in
dans
l-dun'yā
ٱلدُّنْيَا
the world
l’ici-bas
khiz'yun
خِزْىٌۖ
(is) disgrace
de la disgrâce.
wanudhīquhu
وَنُذِيقُهُۥ
and We will make him taste
Et Nous lui ferons goûter
yawma
يَوْمَ
(on the) Day
(Le) Jour
l-qiyāmati
ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ
(of) Resurrection
(de) La Résurrection
ʿadhāba
عَذَابَ
(the) punishment
(au) châtiment
l-ḥarīqi
ٱلْحَرِيقِ
(of) the Burning Fire
(du) Feu !

Saaniya 'itfihee liyudilla 'an sabeelil laahi lahoo fiddun yaa khizyunw wa nuzeequhoo Yawmal Qiyaamati 'azaabal lhareeq (al-Ḥajj 22:9)

English Sahih:

Twisting his neck [in arrogance] to mislead [people] from the way of Allah. For him in the world is disgrace, and We will make him taste on the Day of Resurrection the punishment of the Burning Fire [while it is said], (Al-Hajj [22] : 9)

Muhammad Hamidullah:

affichant une attitude orgueilleuse pour égarer les gens du sentier d'Allah. A lui l'ignominie ici-bas; et Nous Lui ferons goûter le Jour de la Résurrection, le châtiment de la fournaise. (Al-Hajj [22] : 9)

Ils courbent le cou par orgueil afin de détourner les gens de croire et d’entrer dans la religion d’Allah. Ceux qui sont ainsi subiront une punition avilissante dans le bas monde et dans l’au-delà, Nous leur ferons goûter au châtiment du feu ardent.
