۞ وَهُوَ الَّذِيْ مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ هٰذَا عَذْبٌ فُرَاتٌ وَّهٰذَا مِلْحٌ اُجَاجٌۚ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخًا وَّحِجْرًا مَّحْجُوْرًا ( الفرقان: ٥٣ )
wahuwa
وَهُوَ
And He
Et Il (est)
alladhī
ٱلَّذِى
(is) the One Who
Celui qui
maraja
مَرَجَ
(has) released
a placé ensembles
l-baḥrayni
ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ
the two seas
les deux mers,
hādhā
هَٰذَا
[this] (one)
celle-ci (est)
ʿadhbun
عَذْبٌ
palatable
agréable à boire,
furātun
فُرَاتٌ
and sweet
sucrée,
wahādhā
وَهَٰذَا
and [this] (one)
et celle-ci (est)
mil'ḥun
مِلْحٌ
salty
salée,
ujājun
أُجَاجٌ
(and) bitter
amère,
wajaʿala
وَجَعَلَ
and He has made
et a fait
baynahumā
بَيْنَهُمَا
between them
entre elles
barzakhan
بَرْزَخًا
a barrier
une obstruction
waḥij'ran
وَحِجْرًا
and a partition
et une interdiction
maḥjūran
مَّحْجُورًا
forbidden
interdite.
Wa Huwal lazee marajal bahraini haazaa 'azbun furaatunw wa haazaa milhun ujaaj; wa ja'ala bainahumaa barzakhanw wa hijram mahjooraa (al-Furq̈ān 25:53)
English Sahih:
And it is He who has released [simultaneously] the two seas [i.e., bodies of water], one fresh and sweet and one salty and bitter, and He placed between them a barrier and prohibiting partition. (Al-Furqan [25] : 53)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
Et c'est Lui qui donne libre cours aux deux mers: l'une douce, rafraîchissante, l'autre salée, amère. Et Il assigne entre les deux une zone intermédiaire et un barrage infranchissable. (Al-Furqane [25] : 53)
