يَعْلَمُوْنَ ظَاهِرًا مِّنَ الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَاۖ وَهُمْ عَنِ الْاٰخِرَةِ هُمْ غٰفِلُوْنَ ( الروم: ٧ )
yaʿlamūna
يَعْلَمُونَ
They know
ils connaissent

ظَٰهِرًا
(the) apparent

مِّنَ

l-ḥayati
ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ
the life

l-dun'yā
ٱلدُّنْيَا
(of) the world
(de) l’ici-bas
wahum
وَهُمْ
but they

عَنِ

l-ākhirati
ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
the Hereafter
l’au-delà
hum
هُمْ
[they]
(sont) eux
ghāfilūna
غَٰفِلُونَ
(are) heedless
inattentifs.
Ya'lamoona zaahiram minal hayaatid dunya wa hum 'anil Aakhirati hum ghaafiloon (ar-Rūm 30:7)
English Sahih:
They know what is apparent of the worldly life, but they, of the Hereafter, are unaware. (Ar-Rum [30] : 7)

Ils ne connaissent pas la foi et les jugements de la religion mais seulement une part apparente de la vie du bas monde ayant trait à l’acquisition de revenus et la construction d’une civilisation matérielle tandis qu’ils se détournent de l’au-delà qui est la véritable vie et ne lui accordent pas d’importance.
