وَاِنْ مِّنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتٰبِ اِلَّا لَيُؤْمِنَنَّ بِهٖ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهٖ ۚوَيَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ يَكُوْنُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيْدًاۚ ( النساء: ١٥٩ )
Wa im min Ahlil Kitaabi illaa layu'minanna bihee qabla mawtihee wa Yawmal Qiyaamati yakoonu 'alaihim shaheedaa (an-Nisāʾ 4:159)
English Sahih:
And there is none from the People of the Scripture but that he will surely believe in him [i.e., Jesus] before his death. And on the Day of Resurrection he will be against them a witness. (An-Nisa [4] : 159)

Il n'y aura personne, parmi les gens du Livre, qui n'aura pas foi en lui avant sa mort. Et au Jour de la Résurrection, il sera témoin contre eux. (An-Nisa' [4] : 159)

Toute personne appartenant aux Gens du Livre croira en Jésus après son retour à la Fin des Temps (`âkhiru z-zamâni) et avant qu’il ne meure. Le Jour de la Résurrection, Jésus témoignera de leurs agissements: ceux qui sont conformes à la religion et ceux qui y contreviennent.
