وَعَلَّمَ اٰدَمَ الْاَسْمَاۤءَ كُلَّهَا ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى الْمَلٰۤىِٕكَةِ فَقَالَ اَنْۢبِـُٔوْنِيْ بِاَسْمَاۤءِ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ ( البقرة: ٣١ )
And He taught
وَعَلَّمَ
और उसने सिखा दिए
Adam
ءَادَمَ
आदम को
the names
ٱلْأَسْمَآءَ
नाम
all of them
كُلَّهَا
सब उनके
Then
ثُمَّ
फिर
He displayed them
عَرَضَهُمْ
उसने पेश किया उन्हें
to
عَلَى
फ़रिश्तों पर
the angels
ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ
फ़रिश्तों पर
then He said
فَقَالَ
फिर फ़रमाया
"Inform Me
أَنۢبِـُٔونِى
ख़बर दो मुझे
of (the) names
بِأَسْمَآءِ
नामों की
(of) these
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
उन सब के
if
إِن
अगर
you are
كُنتُمْ
हो तुम
truthful"
صَٰدِقِينَ
सच्चे
Wa'allama adama alasmaa kullaha thumma 'aradahum 'ala almalaikati faqala anbioonee biasmai haolai in kuntum sadiqeena (al-Baq̈arah 2:31)

उसने (अल्लाह ने) आदम को सारे नाम सिखाए, फिर उन्हें फ़रिश्तों के सामने पेश किया और कहा, 'अगर तुम सच्चे हो तो मुझे इनके नाम बताओ।'
English Sahih:
And He taught Adam the names – all of them. Then He showed them to the angels and said, "Inform Me of the names of these, if you are truthful." ([2] Al-Baqarah : 31)
