قَالُوْا سَوَاۤءٌ عَلَيْنَآ اَوَعَظْتَ اَمْ لَمْ تَكُنْ مِّنَ الْوَاعِظِيْنَ ۙ ( الشعراء: ١٣٦ )
They said
قَالُوا۟
उन्होंने कहा
"(It is) same
سَوَآءٌ
बराबर है
to us
عَلَيْنَآ
हम पर
whether you advise
أَوَعَظْتَ
ख़्वाह नसीहत करे तू
or
أَمْ
या
not
لَمْ
ना
you are
تَكُن
तू हो
of
مِّنَ
नसीहत करने वालों में से
the advisors
ٱلْوَٰعِظِينَ
नसीहत करने वालों में से
Qaloo sawaon 'alayna awa'athta am lam takun mina alwa'itheena (aš-Šuʿarāʾ 26:136)
Muhammad Faruq Khan Sultanpuri & Muhammad Ahmed:
उन्होंने कहा, 'हमारे लिए बराबर है चाहे तुम नसीहत करो या नसीहत करने वाले न बनो।
English Sahih:
They said, "It is all the same to us whether you advise or are not of the advisors. ([26] Ash-Shu'ara : 136)
