قُلْ سِيْرُوْا فِى الْاَرْضِ فَانْظُرُوْا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلُۗ كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّشْرِكِيْنَ ( الروم: ٤٢ )
Say
قُلْ
कह दीजिए
"Travel
سِيرُوا۟
चलो फिरो
in
فِى
ज़मीन में
the earth
ٱلْأَرْضِ
ज़मीन में
and see
فَٱنظُرُوا۟
फिर देखो
how
كَيْفَ
कैसा
was
كَانَ
हुआ
(the) end
عَٰقِبَةُ
अंजाम
(of) those who
ٱلَّذِينَ
उनका जो
(were) before
مِن
(इनसे) पहले थे
(were) before
قَبْلُۚ
(इनसे) पहले थे
Most of them were
كَانَ
थे
Most of them were
أَكْثَرُهُم
अक्सर उनके
polytheists"
مُّشْرِكِينَ
मुशरिक
Qul seeroo fee alardi faonthuroo kayfa kana 'aqibatu allatheena min qablu kana aktharuhum mushrikeena (ar-Rūm 30:42)
Muhammad Faruq Khan Sultanpuri & Muhammad Ahmed:
कहो, 'धरती में चल-फिरकर देखो कि उन लोगों का कैसा परिणाम हुआ जो पहले गुज़रे है। उनमें अधिकतर बहुदेववादी ही थे।'
English Sahih:
Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of those before. Most of them were associators [of others with Allah]. ([30] Ar-Rum : 42)
