۞ تُرْجِيْ مَنْ تَشَاۤءُ مِنْهُنَّ وَتُـْٔوِيْٓ اِلَيْكَ مَنْ تَشَاۤءُۗ وَمَنِ ابْتَغَيْتَ مِمَّنْ عَزَلْتَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكَۗ ذٰلِكَ اَدْنٰٓى اَنْ تَقَرَّ اَعْيُنُهُنَّ وَلَا يَحْزَنَّ وَيَرْضَيْنَ بِمَآ اٰتَيْتَهُنَّ كُلُّهُنَّۗ وَاللّٰهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِيْ قُلُوْبِكُمْ ۗوَكَانَ اللّٰهُ عَلِيْمًا حَلِيْمًا ( الأحزاب: ٥١ )
Turjee man tashao minhunna watuwee ilayka man tashao wamani ibtaghayta mimman 'azalta fala junaha 'alayka thalika adna an taqarra a'yunuhunna wala yahzanna wayardayna bima ataytahunna kulluhunna waAllahu ya'lamu ma fee quloobikum wakana Allahu 'aleeman haleeman (al-ʾAḥzāb 33:51)

तुम उनमें से जिसे चाहो अपने से अलग रखो और जिसे चाहो अपने पास रखो, और जिनको तुमने अलग रखा हो, उनमें से किसी के इच्छुक हो तो इसमें तुमपर कोई दोष नहीं, इससे इस बात की अधिक सम्भावना है कि उनकी आँखें ठंड़ी रहें और वे शोकाकुल न हों और जो कुछ तुम उन्हें दो उसपर वे राज़ी रहें। अल्लाह जानता है जो कुछ तुम्हारे दिलों में है। अल्लाह सर्वज्ञ, बहुत सहनशील है
English Sahih:
You, [O Muhammad], may put aside whom you will of them or take to yourself whom you will. And any that you desire of those [wives] from whom you had [temporarily] separated – there is no blame upon you [in returning her]. That is more suitable that they should be content and not grieve and that they should be satisfied with what you have given them – all of them. And Allah knows what is in your hearts. And ever is Allah Knowing and Forbearing. ([33] Al-Ahzab : 51)

इनमें से जिसको (जब) चाहो अलग कर दो और जिसको (जब तक) चाहो अपने पास रखो और जिन औरतों को तुमने अलग कर दिया था अगर फिर तुम उनके ख्वाहॉ हो तो भी तुम पर कोई मज़ाएक़ा नहीं है ये (अख़तेयार जो तुमको दिया गया है) ज़रूर इस क़ाबिल है कि तुम्हारी बीवियों की ऑंखें ठन्डी रहे और आर्जूदा ख़ातिर न हो और वो कुछ तुम उन्हें दे दो सबकी सब उस पर राज़ी रहें और जो कुछ तुम्हारे दिलों में है खुदा उसको ख़ुब जानता है और खुदा तो बड़ा वाक़िफकार बुर्दबार है
