يَمُنُّوۡنَ عَلَيۡكَ اَنۡ اَسۡلَمُوۡا ؕ قُلْ لَّا تَمُنُّوۡا عَلَىَّ اِسۡلَامَكُمۡ ۚ بَلِ اللّٰهُ يَمُنُّ عَلَيۡكُمۡ اَنۡ هَدٰٮكُمۡ لِلۡاِيۡمَانِ اِنۡ كُنۡـتُمۡ صٰدِقِيۡنَ(الحجرات :17)
يَمُنُّونَ
They consider (it) a favor
عَلَيْكَ
to you
أَنْ
that
أَسْلَمُوا۟ۖ
they have accepted Islam
قُل
Say
لَّا
"(Do) not
تَمُنُّوا۟
consider a favor
عَلَىَّ
to me -
إِسْلَٰمَكُمۖ
your Islam
بَلِ
Nay
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
يَمُنُّ
has conferred a favor
عَلَيْكُمْ
upon you
أَنْ
that
هَدَىٰكُمْ
He has guided you
لِلْإِيمَٰنِ
to the faith
إِن
if
كُنتُمْ
you are
صَٰدِقِينَ
truthful
Yamunnoona 'alayka an aslamoo qul la tamunnoo 'alayya islamakum bali Allahu yamunnu 'alaykum an hadakum lileemani in kuntum sadiqeena
Sahih International:
They consider it a favor to you that they have accepted Islam. Say, "Do not consider your Islam a favor to me. Rather, Allah has conferred favor upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if you should be truthful."
