ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِنْۢ بَعْدِهٖ رُسُلًا اِلٰى قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَاۤءُوْهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنٰتِ فَمَا كَانُوْا لِيُؤْمِنُوْا بِمَا كَذَّبُوْا بِهٖ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۗ كَذٰلِكَ نَطْبَعُ عَلٰى قُلُوْبِ الْمُعْتَدِيْنَ ( يونس: ٧٤ )
Summma ba'asnaa mim ba'dihee Rusulan ilaa qawmihim fajaaa'oohum bilbaiyinaati famaa kaanoo liyu'minoo bimaa kazzaboo bihee min qabl; kazaalika natba'u 'alaa quloobil mu'tadeen (al-Yūnus 10:74)
English Sahih:
Then We sent after him messengers to their peoples, and they came to them with clear proofs. But they were not to believe in that which they had denied before. Thus We seal over the hearts of the transgressors. (Yunus [10] : 74)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
പിന്നീട് അദ്ദേഹത്തിനുശേഷം നിരവധി ദൂതന്മാരെ നാം തങ്ങളുടെ ജനതകളിലേക്കയച്ചു. അങ്ങനെ അവരുടെ അടുത്ത് വ്യക്തമായ പ്രമാണങ്ങളുമായി അവര് വന്നെത്തി. എങ്കിലും നേരത്തെ കള്ളമാക്കി തള്ളിയതില് വിശ്വസിക്കാനവര് തയ്യാറായിരുന്നില്ല. അവ്വിധം അതിക്രമികളുടെ മനസ്സുകള്ക്ക് നാം മുദ്ര വെക്കുന്നു. (യൂനുസ് [10] : 74)

പിന്നെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിനു ശേഷം പല ദൂതന്മാരെയും അവരുടെ ജനതയിലേക്ക് നാം നിയോഗിച്ചു. അങ്ങനെ അവരുടെ അടുത്ത് തെളിവുകളും കൊണ്ട് അവര് ചെന്നു. എന്നാല് മുമ്പ് ഏതൊന്ന് അവര് നിഷേധിച്ചു തള്ളിയോ അതില് അവര് വിശ്വസിക്കുവാന് തയ്യാറുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. അതിക്രമകാരികളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളിന്മേല് അപ്രകാരം നാം മുദ്രവെക്കുന്നു.
