وَمَا ظَلَمْنٰهُمْ وَلٰكِنْ ظَلَمُوْٓا اَنْفُسَهُمْ فَمَآ اَغْنَتْ عَنْهُمْ اٰلِهَتُهُمُ الَّتِيْ يَدْعُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ لَّمَّا جَاۤءَ اَمْرُ رَبِّكَۗ وَمَا زَادُوْهُمْ غَيْرَ تَتْبِيْبٍ ( هود: ١٠١ )
Wa maa zalamnaahum wa laakin zalamooo anfusahum famaaa aghnat 'anhum aalihatuhumul latee yad'oona min doonil laahi min shai'il lammaa jaaa'a amru Rabbika wa maa zaadoohum ghaira tatbeeb (Hūd 11:101)
English Sahih:
And We did not wrong them, but they wronged themselves. And they were not availed at all by their gods which they invoked other than Allah when there came the command of your Lord. And they did not increase them in other than ruin. (Hud [11] : 101)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
നാം അവരോട് ഒരതിക്രമവും കാണിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. അവര് തങ്ങളോടുതന്നെ അതിക്രമം കാണിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. നിന്റെ നാഥന്റെ വിധിവന്നു. അപ്പോള് അല്ലാഹുവെ വിട്ട് അവര് പ്രാര്ഥിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്ന ദൈവങ്ങള്ക്കൊന്നും അവര്ക്കൊരുപകാരവും ചെയ്യാനായില്ല. അവര്ക്കവ നാശമല്ലാതൊന്നും വര്ധിപ്പിച്ചുകൊടുത്തതുമില്ല. (ഹൂദ് [11] : 101)

നാം അവരോട് അക്രമം ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല. പക്ഷെ അവര് അവരോട് തന്നെ അക്രമം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുകയാണുണ്ടായത്. എന്നാല് നിന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്റെ കല്പന വന്ന സമയത്ത് അല്ലാഹുവിന് പുറമെ അവര് വിളിച്ച് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ച് കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന അവരുടെ ദൈവങ്ങള് അവര്ക്ക് യാതൊരു ഉപകാരവും ചെയ്തില്ല. അവര് (ദൈവങ്ങള്) അവര്ക്ക് നാശം വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുക മാത്രമാണ് ചെയ്തത്.
