وَلَوْ شَاۤءَ رَبُّكَ لَجَعَلَ النَّاسَ اُمَّةً وَّاحِدَةً وَّلَا يَزَالُوْنَ مُخْتَلِفِيْنَۙ ( هود: ١١٨ )
walaw shāa
وَلَوْ شَآءَ
And if your Lord (had) willed
ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കില്
rabbuka
رَبُّكَ
your Lord (had) willed
നിന്റെ റബ്ബ്
lajaʿala
لَجَعَلَ
surely He (could) have made
അവന് ആക്കുക തന്നെ ചെയ്തിരുന്നു
l-nāsa
ٱلنَّاسَ
the mankind
മനുഷ്യരെ
ummatan
أُمَّةً
one community
ഒരു സമുദായം
wāḥidatan
وَٰحِدَةًۖ
one community
ഒരേ, ഏക
walā yazālūna
وَلَا يَزَالُونَ
but not they will cease
അവര് ആയിക്കൊണ്ടേയിരിക്കയും ചെയ്യും, (വിട്ടുമാറാതെയുമിരിക്കുന്നു)
mukh'talifīna
مُخْتَلِفِينَ
to differ
ഭിന്നാഭിപ്രായക്കാരായിക്കൊണ്ടു, വ്യത്യസ്തരായിട്ടു, ഭിന്നിച്ചവരായി.
Wa law shaaa'a Rabbuka laja'alannnaasa ummatanw waa hidatanw wa laa yazaaloona mukhtalifeen (Hūd 11:118)
English Sahih:
And if your Lord had willed, He could have made mankind one community; but they will not cease to differ, (Hud [11] : 118)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
നിന്റെ നാഥന് ഇച്ഛിച്ചിരുന്നുവെങ്കില് അവന് മുഴുവന് മനുഷ്യരെയും ഒരൊറ്റ സമുദായമാക്കുമായിരുന്നു. എന്നാല് അവര് ഭിന്നിച്ചുകൊണ്ടേയിരിക്കും. (ഹൂദ് [11] : 118)
