وَمَآ اَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ اِلَّا رِجَالًا نُّوْحِيْٓ اِلَيْهِمْ مِّنْ اَهْلِ الْقُرٰىۗ اَفَلَمْ يَسِيْرُوْا فِى الْاَرْضِ فَيَنْظُرُوْا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْۗ وَلَدَارُ الْاٰخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِيْنَ اتَّقَوْاۗ اَفَلَا تَعْقِلُوْنَ ( يوسف: ١٠٩ )
Wa maaa arsalnaa min qablika illaa rijaalan nooheee ilaihim min ahlil quraa; afalam yaseeroo fil ardi fa yanzuroo kaifa kaana 'aaqibatul lazeena min qablihim; wa la Daarul Aakhirati Khairul lillazeenat taqaw; afalaa ta'qiloon (Yūsuf 12:109)
English Sahih:
And We sent not before you [as messengers] except men to whom We revealed from among the people of cities. So have they not traveled through the earth and observed how was the end of those before them? And the home of the Hereafter is best for those who fear Allah; then will you not reason? (Yusuf [12] : 109)

ചില പുരുഷന്മാരെയല്ലാതെ നിനക്കുമുമ്പു നാം ദൂതന്മാരായി നിയോഗിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. നാം അവര്ക്ക് ബോധനം നല്കി. അവര് വിവിധ രാജ്യങ്ങളില് നിന്നുള്ളവരായിരുന്നു. എന്നിട്ടും ഇക്കൂട്ടര് ഭൂമിയില് സഞ്ചരിച്ചുനോക്കുന്നില്ലേ? അങ്ങനെ അവര്ക്കു മുമ്പുണ്ടായിരുന്നവരുടെ ഒടുക്കം എവ്വിധമായിരുന്നുവെന്ന് നോക്കിക്കാണുന്നില്ലേ? ഭക്തി പുലര്ത്തുന്നവര്ക്ക് കൂടുതലുത്തമം പരലോകഭവനമാണ്. ഇതൊന്നും നിങ്ങള് ചിന്തിക്കുന്നില്ലേ? വിവിധ പട്ടണക്കാരിൽ നിന്ന് നാം സന്ദേശം നല്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന ചില പുരുഷന്മാരെത്തന്നെയാണ് നിനക്ക് മുമ്പും നാം ദൂതന്മാരായി നിയോഗിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്.[1] അവര് (അവിശ്വാസികള്) ഭൂമിയിലൂടെ സഞ്ചരിച്ചിട്ട് തങ്ങളുടെ മുന്ഗാമികളുടെ പര്യവസാനം എങ്ങനെയായിരുന്നുവെന്ന് നോക്കിയിട്ടില്ലേ? എന്നാല് പരലോകമാണ് സൂക്ഷ്മത പാലിച്ചവര്ക്ക് കൂടുതല് ഉത്തമമായിട്ടുള്ളത്. അപ്പോള് നിങ്ങള് ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നില്ലേ?
[1] ഓരോ നാട്ടിലേക്കും അവിടത്തുകാരില് നിന്ന് പ്രത്യേകം തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട പുരുഷന്മാരായ ദൂതന്മാരെ മാത്രമേ അല്ലാഹു നിയോഗിച്ചിട്ടുളളു.
