وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوْٓا اَيْمَانَكُمْ دَخَلًا ۢ بَيْنَكُمْ فَتَزِلَّ قَدَمٌۢ بَعْدَ ثُبُوْتِهَا وَتَذُوْقُوا السُّوْۤءَ بِمَا صَدَدْتُّمْ عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ ۚوَلَكُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيْمٌ ( النحل: ٩٤ )
Wa laa tattakhizooo aimaanakum dakhalam bainakum ftazilla qadamum ba'da subootihaa wa tazooqus sooo'a bimmaa sadattum 'an sabeelil laahi wa lakum 'azaabun 'azeem (an-Naḥl 16:94)
English Sahih:
And do not take your oaths as [means of] deceit between you, lest a foot slip after it was [once] firm, and you would taste evil [in this world] for what [people] you diverted from the way of Allah, and you would have [in the Hereafter] a great punishment. (An-Nahl [16] : 94)

നിങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളുടെ ശപഥങ്ങളെ പരസ്പരം വഞ്ചനോപാധിയാക്കരുത്. അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്താല് സത്യത്തില് നിലയുറപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം കാലിടറാനും അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ മാര്ഗത്തില് നിന്ന് ജനങ്ങളെ തടഞ്ഞതിന്റെ പേരില് ദുരിതമനുഭവിക്കാനും അതിടവരുത്തും. പിന്നെ നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് അതിഭയങ്കരമായ ശിക്ഷയുണ്ടാകും. (അന്നഹ്ല് [16] : 94)

നിങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളുടെ ശപഥങ്ങളെ അന്യോന്യം ചതിപ്രയോഗത്തിനുള്ള മാര്ഗമാക്കിക്കളയരുത്. (ഇസ്ലാമില്) നില്പുറച്ചതിന് ശേഷം പാദം ഇടറിപോകാനും,[1] അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ മാര്ഗത്തില് നിന്ന് ആളുകളെ തടഞ്ഞതു നിമിത്തം നിങ്ങള് കെടുതി അനുഭവിക്കാനും അത് കാരണമായിത്തീരും. നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഭയങ്കരമായ ശിക്ഷയുണ്ടായിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.
