فَمَا اسْطَاعُوْٓا اَنْ يَّظْهَرُوْهُ وَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوْا لَهٗ نَقْبًا ( الكهف: ٩٧ )
famā is'ṭāʿū
فَمَا ٱسْطَٰعُوٓا۟
So not they were able
പിന്നെ അവര്ക്കു സാധിച്ചില്ല
an yaẓharūhu
أَن يَظْهَرُوهُ
to scale it
അതിനുമീതെ കയറുവാന്, കയറിമറിയുവാന്
wamā is'taṭāʿū
وَمَا ٱسْتَطَٰعُوا۟
and not they were able
അവര്ക്കു സാദ്ധ്യമായതുമില്ല
lahu
لَهُۥ
in it
അതിനു, അതിനെ
naqban
نَقْبًا
(to do) any penetration
തുരങ്കത്തിന്, തുരങ്കമുണ്ടാക്കുവാന്
Famas taa'ooo any yazharoohu wa mastataa'oo lahoo naqbaa (al-Kahf 18:97)
English Sahih:
So they [i.e., Gog and Magog] were unable to pass over it, nor were they able [to effect] in it any penetration. (Al-Kahf [18] : 97)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
പിന്നെ യഅ്ജൂജ് മഅ്ജൂജുകള്ക്ക് അത് കയറി മറിയാന് കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നില്ല. അതിന് തുളയുണ്ടാക്കാനും അവര്ക്കായില്ല. (അല്കഹ്ഫ് [18] : 97)
