وَلَوْ اَنَّهُمْ اٰمَنُوْا وَاتَّقَوْا لَمَثُوْبَةٌ مِّنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰهِ خَيْرٌ ۗ لَوْ كَانُوْا يَعْلَمُوْنَ ࣖ ( البقرة: ١٠٣ )
walaw annahum
وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ
And if [that] they
അവര് ആയിരുന്നെങ്കില്
āmanū
ءَامَنُوا۟
(had) believed
അവര് വിശ്വസിച്ചു
wa-ittaqaw
وَٱتَّقَوْا۟
and feared (Allah)
അവര് സൂക്ഷിക്കുകയും ചെയതു
lamathūbatun
لَمَثُوبَةٌ
surely (the) reward
തീര്ച്ചയായും വല്ല പ്രതിഫലവും, ഒരു പ്രതിഫലം
min ʿindi l-lahi
مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ
(of) from Allah
അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ പക്കല് നിന്നുള്ള
khayrun
خَيْرٌۖ
(would have been) better
നല്ലതാണ്, ഏറ്റം ഉത്തമമാണ്
law kānū
لَّوْ كَانُوا۟
if they were
അവരായിരുന്നെങ്കില്
yaʿlamūna
يَعْلَمُونَ
(to) know
അവര് അറിയും
Wa law annahum aamanoo wattaqaw lamasoobatum min 'indillaahi khairun law kaanoo ya'lamoon (al-Baq̈arah 2:103)
English Sahih:
And if they had believed and feared Allah, then the reward from Allah would have been [far] better, if they only knew. (Al-Baqarah [2] : 103)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അവര് സത്യവിശ്വാസം ഉള്ക്കൊള്ളുകയും സൂക്ഷ്മത പുലര്ത്തുകയുമാണെങ്കില് അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കലുള്ള പ്രതിഫലം ഉത്തമമാകുമായിരുന്നു. അവരതറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നെങ്കില്. (അല്ബഖറ [2] : 103)
