وَقَالُوْا لَنْ يَّدْخُلَ الْجَنَّةَ اِلَّا مَنْ كَانَ هُوْدًا اَوْ نَصٰرٰى ۗ تِلْكَ اَمَانِيُّهُمْ ۗ قُلْ هَاتُوْا بُرْهَانَكُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ ( البقرة: ١١١ )
Wa qaaloo lai yadkhulal jannata illaa man kaana Hoodan aw Nasaaraa; tilka amaaniyyuhum; qul haatoo burhaa nakum in kuntum saadiqeen (al-Baq̈arah 2:111)
English Sahih:
And they say, "None will enter Paradise except one who is a Jew or a Christian." That is [merely] their wishful thinking. Say, "Produce your proof, if you should be truthful." (Al-Baqarah [2] : 111)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
ജൂതനോ ക്രിസ്ത്യാനിയോ ആവാതെ ആരും സ്വര്‍ഗത്തില്‍ പ്രവേശിക്കുകയില്ലെന്ന് അവര്‍ അവകാശപ്പെടുന്നു. അതവരുടെ വ്യാമോഹം മാത്രം. അവരോട് പറയൂ: നിങ്ങള്‍ തെളിവു കൊണ്ടുവരിക; നിങ്ങള്‍ സത്യസന്ധരെങ്കില്‍. (അല്‍ബഖറ [2] : 111)

(ആര്‍ക്കെങ്കിലും) സ്വര്‍ഗത്തില്‍ പ്രവേശിക്കണമെങ്കില്‍ യഹൂദരോ ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികളോ ആവാതെ പറ്റില്ലെന്നാണ് അവര്‍ പറയുന്നത്. അതൊക്കെ അവരുടെ വ്യാമോഹങ്ങളത്രെ. എന്നാല്‍ (നബിയേ,) പറയുക; 'നിങ്ങള്‍ സത്യവാന്‍മാരാണെങ്കില്‍ (അതിന്ന്‌) നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് കിട്ടിയ തെളിവ് കൊണ്ടു വരൂ' എന്ന്.
