وَمَنْ يَّرْغَبُ عَنْ مِّلَّةِ اِبْرٰهٖمَ اِلَّا مَنْ سَفِهَ نَفْسَهٗ ۗوَلَقَدِ اصْطَفَيْنٰهُ فِى الدُّنْيَا ۚوَاِنَّهٗ فِى الْاٰخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصّٰلِحِيْنَ ( البقرة: ١٣٠ )
waman
وَمَن
And who
ആര്‍, ഏതൊരുത്തന്‍
yarghabu ʿan
يَرْغَبُ عَن
will turn away from
അതൃപ്തിപ്പെടും
millati ib'rāhīma
مِّلَّةِ إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ
(the) religion (of) Ibrahim
ഇബ്‌റാഹീമിന്റെ മാര്‍ഗത്തോട്
illā man
إِلَّا مَن
except who
യാതൊരുവനല്ലാതെ
safiha
سَفِهَ
fooled
അവന്‍ വിഡ്ഢിയാക്കി
nafsahu
نَفْسَهُۥۚ
himself?
തന്നെത്തന്നെ
walaqadi
وَلَقَدِ
And indeed
തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഉണ്ട്
iṣ'ṭafaynāhu
ٱصْطَفَيْنَٰهُ
We chose him
അദ്ദേഹത്തെ നാം തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു, തെളിയിച്ചെടുത്തു
fī l-dun'yā
فِى ٱلدُّنْيَاۖ
in the world
ഇഹലോകത്തില്‍
wa-innahu
وَإِنَّهُۥ
and indeed he
നിശ്ചയമായും അദ്ദേഹമാകട്ടെ
fī l-ākhirati
فِى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
in the Hereafter
പരലോകത്തില്‍
lamina l-ṣāliḥīna
لَمِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
surely (will be) among the righteous
സജ്ജനങ്ങളില്‍ പെട്ടവനാണ്
Wa manny yarghabu 'am-Millarti Ibraaheema illaa man safiha nafsah; wa laqadis tafainaahu fid-dunyaa wa innaho fil aakhirati laminas saaliheen (al-Baq̈arah 2:130)
English Sahih:
And who would be averse to the religion of Abraham except one who makes a fool of himself. And We had chosen him in this world, and indeed he, in the Hereafter, will be among the righteous. (Al-Baqarah [2] : 130)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
ആരെങ്കിലും ഇബ്‌റാഹീമിന്റെ മാര്‍ഗം വെറുക്കുമോ? സ്വയം വിഡ്ഢിയായവനല്ലാതെ. ഈ ലോകത്ത് നാം അദ്ദേഹത്തെ മികവുറ്റവനായി തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. പരലോകത്ത് അദ്ദേഹം സുകൃതവാന്മാരിലായിരിക്കും. (അല്‍ബഖറ [2] : 130)
