اُولٰۤىِٕكَ الَّذِيْنَ اشْتَرَوُا الضَّلٰلَةَ بِالْهُدٰىۖ فَمَا رَبِحَتْ تِّجَارَتُهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوْا مُهْتَدِيْنَ ( البقرة: ١٦ )
ulāika
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
Those
അക്കൂട്ടര്
alladhīna
ٱلَّذِينَ
(are) the ones who
യാതൊരുവരാണ്
ish'tarawū
ٱشْتَرَوُا۟
bought
അവര് (വിലക്ക്) വാങ്ങി
l-ḍalālata
ٱلضَّلَٰلَةَ
[the] astraying
ദുര്മാര്ഗം
bil-hudā
بِٱلْهُدَىٰ
for [the] guidance
സന്മാര്ഗത്തിന് (പകരം)
famā rabiḥat
فَمَا رَبِحَت
So not profited
എന്നാല് (എന്നിട്ട്) ലാഭകരമായില്ല
tijāratuhum
تِّجَٰرَتُهُمْ
their commerce
അവരുടെ കച്ചവടം
wamā kānū
وَمَا كَانُوا۟
and not were they
അവര് ആയതുമില്ല
muh'tadīna
مُهْتَدِينَ
guided-ones
നേര്മാര്ഗം പ്രാപിച്ചവര്
Ulaaa'ikal lazeenash tara wud dalaalata bilhudaa famaa rabihat tijaaratuhum wa maa kaanoo muhtadeen (al-Baq̈arah 2:16)
English Sahih:
Those are the ones who have purchased error [in exchange] for guidance, so their transaction has brought no profit, nor were they guided. (Al-Baqarah [2] : 16)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അവരാണ് നേര്വഴി വിറ്റ് വഴികേട് വിലയ്ക്കെടുത്തവര്. അവരുടെ കച്ചവടം തീരേ ലാഭകരമായില്ല. അവര് നേര്മാര്ഗം പ്രാപിച്ചതുമില്ല. (അല്ബഖറ [2] : 16)
