اَللّٰهُ وَلِيُّ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا يُخْرِجُهُمْ مِّنَ الظُّلُمٰتِ اِلَى النُّوْرِۗ وَالَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْٓا اَوْلِيَاۤؤُهُمُ الطَّاغُوْتُ يُخْرِجُوْنَهُمْ مِّنَ النُّوْرِ اِلَى الظُّلُمٰتِۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ اَصْحٰبُ النَّارِۚ هُمْ فِيْهَا خٰلِدُوْنَ ࣖ ( البقرة: ٢٥٧ )
Allaahu waliyyul lazeena aamanoo yukhrijuhum minaz zulumaati ilan noori wallazeena kafarooo awliyaaa'uhumut Taaghootu yukhrijoonahum minan noori ilaz zulumaat; ulaaa'ika Ashaabun Naari hum feehaa khaalidoon (al-Baq̈arah 2:257)
English Sahih:
Allah is the Ally of those who believe. He brings them out from darknesses into the light. And those who disbelieve – their allies are Taghut. They take them out of the light into darknesses. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein. (Al-Baqarah [2] : 257)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അല്ലാഹു, വിശ്വസിച്ചവരുടെ രക്ഷകനാണ്. അവന്‍ അവരെ ഇരുളുകളില്‍നിന്ന് വെളിച്ചത്തിലേക്ക് നയിക്കുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ സത്യനിഷേധികളുടെ രക്ഷാധികാരികള്‍ വ്യാജ ദൈവങ്ങളാണ്. അവര്‍ അവരെ നയിക്കുന്നത് വെളിച്ചത്തില്‍നിന്ന് ഇരുളുകളിലേക്കാണ്. അവര്‍ തന്നെയാണ് നരകാവകാശികള്‍. അവരതില്‍ സ്ഥിരവാസികളായിരിക്കും. (അല്‍ബഖറ [2] : 257)

വിശ്വസിച്ചവരുടെ രക്ഷാധികാരിയാകുന്നു അല്ലാഹു. അവന്‍ അവരെ ഇരുട്ടുകളില്‍ നിന്ന് വെളിച്ചത്തിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടു വരുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ സത്യനിഷേധികളുടെ രക്ഷാധികാരികള്‍ ദുര്‍മൂര്‍ത്തികളാകുന്നു. വെളിച്ചത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് ഇരുട്ടുകളിലേക്കാണ് ആ ദുര്‍മൂര്‍ത്തികള്‍ അവരെ നയിക്കുന്നത്. അവരത്രെ നരകാവകാശികള്‍. അവരതില്‍ നിത്യവാസികളാകുന്നു.
