اَلَّذِيْنَ يُنْفِقُوْنَ اَمْوَالَهُمْ فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ ثُمَّ لَا يُتْبِعُوْنَ مَآ اَنْفَقُوْا مَنًّا وَّلَآ اَذًىۙ لَّهُمْ اَجْرُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْۚ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُوْنَ ( البقرة: ٢٦٢ )
Allazeena yunfiqoona amwaalahum fee sabeelillaahi summa laa yutbi'oona maaa anfaqoo mannanw wa laaa azal lahum ajruhum 'inda Rabbihim; wa laa khawfun 'alaihim wa laa hum yahzanoon (al-Baq̈arah 2:262)
English Sahih:
Those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah and then do not follow up what they have spent with reminders [of it] or [other] injury will have their reward with their Lord, and there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve. (Al-Baqarah [2] : 262)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ മാര്ഗത്തില് തങ്ങളുടെ ധനം ചെലവഴിക്കുന്നു; എന്നിട്ട് ചെലവഴിച്ചത് എടുത്തുപറയുകയോ ദാനം വാങ്ങിയവരെ ശല്യപ്പെടുത്തുകയോ ചെയ്യുന്നുമില്ല; അത്തരക്കാര്ക്ക് അവരുടെ നാഥന്റെ അടുക്കല് അര്ഹമായ പ്രതിഫലമുണ്ട്. അവര് പേടിക്കേണ്ടതില്ല. ദുഃഖിക്കേണ്ടതുമില്ല. (അല്ബഖറ [2] : 262)

അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ മാര്ഗത്തില് തങ്ങളുടെ ധനം ചെലവഴിക്കുകയും എന്നിട്ടതിനെ തുടര്ന്ന്, ചെലവ് ചെയ്തത് എടുത്തുപറയുകയോ ശല്യപ്പെടുത്തുകയോ ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവര് ആരോ അവര്ക്ക് തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കല് അവര് അര്ഹിക്കുന്ന പ്രതിഫലമുണ്ടായിരിക്കും. അവര്ക്ക് യാതൊന്നും ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടതില്ല. അവര് ദുഃഖിക്കേണ്ടി വരികയുമില്ല.
