يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اَنْفِقُوْا مِنْ طَيِّبٰتِ مَا كَسَبْتُمْ وَمِمَّآ اَخْرَجْنَا لَكُمْ مِّنَ الْاَرْضِ ۗ وَلَا تَيَمَّمُوا الْخَبِيْثَ مِنْهُ تُنْفِقُوْنَ وَلَسْتُمْ بِاٰخِذِيْهِ اِلَّآ اَنْ تُغْمِضُوْا فِيْهِ ۗ وَاعْلَمُوْٓا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيْدٌ ( البقرة: ٢٦٧ )
Yaaa 'ayyuhal lazeena aamanooo anfiqoo min taiyibaati maa kasabtum wa mimmaaa akhrajuaa lakum minal ardi wa laa tayammamul khabeesa minhu tunfiqoona wa lastum bi aakhizeehi illaaa an tughmidoo feeh; wa'lamooo annal laaha Ghaniyyun Hameed (al-Baq̈arah 2:267)
English Sahih:
O you who have believed, spend from the good things which you have earned and from that which We have produced for you from the earth. And do not aim toward the defective therefrom, spending [from that] while you would not take it [yourself] except with closed eyes. And know that Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy. (Al-Baqarah [2] : 267)

വിശ്വസിച്ചവരേ, നിങ്ങള് സമ്പാദിച്ച ഉത്തമ വസ്തുക്കളില്നിന്നും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു നാം ഭൂമിയില് ഉത്പാദിപ്പിച്ചുതന്നതില് നിന്നും നിങ്ങള് ചെലവഴിക്കുക. കണ്ണടച്ചുകൊണ്ടല്ലാതെ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തന്നെ സ്വീകരിക്കാനാവാത്ത ചീത്ത വസ്തുക്കള് ദാനം ചെയ്യാനായി കരുതിവെക്കരുത്. അറിയുക: അല്ലാഹു അന്യാശ്രയമില്ലാത്തവനും സ്തുത്യര്ഹനുമാണ്. (അല്ബഖറ [2] : 267)

സത്യവിശ്വാസികളേ, നിങ്ങള് സമ്പാദിച്ചുണ്ടാക്കിയ നല്ല വസ്തുക്കളില് നിന്നും, ഭൂമിയില് നിന്ന് നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് നാം ഉല്പാദിപ്പിച്ച് തന്നതില് നിന്നും നിങ്ങള് ചെലവഴിക്കുവിന്. കണ്ണടച്ചുകൊണ്ടല്ലാതെ നിങ്ങള് സ്വീകരിക്കാത്ത മോശമായ സാധനങ്ങള് (ദാനധര്മ്മങ്ങളില്) ചെലവഴിക്കുവാനായി കരുതി വെക്കരുത്. അല്ലാഹു ആരുടെയും ആശ്രയമില്ലാത്തവനും സ്തുത്യര്ഹനുമാണെന്ന് നിങ്ങള് അറിഞ്ഞു കൊള്ളുക.
