وَدَاوٗدَ وَسُلَيْمٰنَ اِذْ يَحْكُمٰنِ فِى الْحَرْثِ اِذْ نَفَشَتْ فِيْهِ غَنَمُ الْقَوْمِۚ وَكُنَّا لِحُكْمِهِمْ شٰهِدِيْنَ ۖ ( الأنبياء: ٧٨ )
wadāwūda wasulaymāna
وَدَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَيْمَٰنَ
And Dawud and Sulaiman
ദാവൂദിനെയും സുലൈമാനെയും (ഓര്‍ക്കുക)
idh yaḥkumāni
إِذْ يَحْكُمَانِ
when they judged
അവര്‍ വിധി കല്‍പിക്കുന്ന സന്ദര്‍ഭം
fī l-ḥarthi
فِى ٱلْحَرْثِ
concerning the field
വിളയുടെ കാര്യത്തില്‍
idh nafashat
إِذْ نَفَشَتْ
when pastured
രാത്രി കടന്നുമേഞ്ഞപ്പോള്‍
fīhi
فِيهِ
in it
അതില്‍
ghanamu l-qawmi
غَنَمُ ٱلْقَوْمِ
sheep (of) a people
ജനങ്ങളുടെ ആടുകള്‍
wakunnā
وَكُنَّا
and We were
നാം ആയിരുന്നു
liḥuk'mihim
لِحُكْمِهِمْ
to their judgment
അവരുടെ വിധിക്കു
shāhidīna
شَٰهِدِينَ
witness
സാക്ഷികള്‍
Wa Daawooda wa Sulaimaana iz yahkumaani fil harsi iz nafashat feehi ghanamul qawmi wa kunnaa lihukmihim shaahideen (al-ʾAnbiyāʾ 21:78)
English Sahih:
And [mention] David and Solomon, when they judged concerning the field – when the sheep of a people overran it [at night], and We were witness to their judgement. (Al-Anbya [21] : 78)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
ദാവൂദിന്റെയും സുലൈമാന്റെയും കാര്യം ഓര്‍ക്കുക: അവരിരുവരും ഒരു കൃഷിയിടത്തിന്റെ പ്രശ്നത്തില് തീര്‍പ്പുകല്‍പിച്ച കാര്യം. ഒരു കൂട്ടരുടെ ആടുകള്‍ കൃഷിയിടത്തില്‍ കടന്നു വിള തിന്നു. അവരുടെ വിധിക്കു നാം സാക്ഷിയായിരുന്നു. (അല്‍അമ്പിയാഅ് [21] : 78)
