وَلَا يَزَالُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا فِيْ مِرْيَةٍ مِّنْهُ حَتّٰى تَأْتِيَهُمُ السَّاعَةُ بَغْتَةً اَوْ يَأْتِيَهُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمٍ عَقِيْمٍ ( الحج: ٥٥ )
walā yazālu
وَلَا يَزَالُ
And not will cease
ആയിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കും
alladhīna kafarū
ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟
those who disbelieve
അവിശ്വസിച്ചവർ
fī mir'yatin
فِى مِرْيَةٍ
(to be) in doubt
സംശയത്തിൽ
min'hu
مِّنْهُ
of it
അതിനെക്കുറിച്ച്
ḥattā tatiyahumu
حَتَّىٰ تَأْتِيَهُمُ
until comes to them
അവർക്കു വന്നെത്തുവോളം
l-sāʿatu
ٱلسَّاعَةُ
the Hour
അന്ത്യസമയം
baghtatan
بَغْتَةً
suddenly
പെട്ടന്ന്, യാദൃശ്ചികമായി
aw yatiyahum
أَوْ يَأْتِيَهُمْ
or comes to them
അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അവർക്കു വന്നെത്തുവോളം
ʿadhābu yawmin
عَذَابُ يَوْمٍ
(the) punishment (of) a Day
ഒരു ദിവസത്തെ ശിക്ഷ
ʿaqīmin
عَقِيمٍ
barren
ഗുണംകെട്ട, നന്മയില്ലാത്ത
Wa laa yazaalul lazeena kafaroo fee miryatim minhu hattaa taatiyahumus Saa'atu baghtatan aw yaatiyahum 'azaabu Yawmin 'aqeem (al-Ḥajj 22:55)
English Sahih:
But those who disbelieve will not cease to be in doubt of it until the Hour comes upon them unexpectedly or there comes to them the punishment of a barren Day. (Al-Hajj [22] : 55)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
എന്നാല് സത്യനിഷേധികള് അതേക്കുറിച്ച് സദാ സംശയത്തിലായിരിക്കും. പെട്ടെന്ന് അന്ത്യസമയം ആസന്നമാകുംവരെ അതു തുടരും. അല്ലെങ്കില് ഒരു ദുര്ദിനത്തിലെ ശിക്ഷ അവര്ക്കു വന്നെത്തുംവരെ. (അല്ഹജ്ജ് [22] : 55)
