ثَانِيَ عِطْفِهٖ لِيُضِلَّ عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ ۗ لَهٗ فِى الدُّنْيَا خِزْيٌ وَّنُذِيْقُهٗ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ عَذَابَ الْحَرِيْقِ ( الحج: ٩ )
Saaniya 'itfihee liyudilla 'an sabeelil laahi lahoo fiddun yaa khizyunw wa nuzeequhoo Yawmal Qiyaamati 'azaabal lhareeq (al-Ḥajj 22:9)
English Sahih:
Twisting his neck [in arrogance] to mislead [people] from the way of Allah. For him in the world is disgrace, and We will make him taste on the Day of Resurrection the punishment of the Burning Fire [while it is said], (Al-Hajj [22] : 9)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
പിരടി ചെരിച്ച് ഹുങ്കുകാട്ടുന്നവനാണവന്‍.അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ മാര്‍ഗത്തില്‍നിന്ന് ആളുകളെ തെറ്റിക്കാനാണ് അവനിങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുന്നത്. ഉറപ്പായും അവന് ഇഹലോകത്ത് നിന്ദ്യതയാണുണ്ടാവുക. ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്‍പുനാളില്‍ നാമവനെ ചുട്ടെരിക്കുന്ന ശിക്ഷ ആസ്വദിപ്പിക്കും. (അല്‍ഹജ്ജ് [22] : 9)

അഹങ്കാരത്തോടെ തിരിഞ്ഞു കൊണ്ട് അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ മാര്‍ഗത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് (ജനങ്ങളെ) തെറ്റിച്ചുകളയാന്‍ വേണ്ടിയത്രെ (അവന് അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുന്നത്.) ഇഹലോകത്ത് അവന്ന് നിന്ദ്യതയാണുള്ളത്‌. ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്‍പിന്‍റെ നാളില്‍ ചുട്ടെരിക്കുന്ന ശിക്ഷ അവന്ന് നാം ആസ്വദിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.
