قَالُوْا تَقَاسَمُوْا بِاللّٰهِ لَنُبَيِّتَنَّهٗ وَاَهْلَهٗ ثُمَّ لَنَقُوْلَنَّ لِوَلِيِّهٖ مَا شَهِدْنَا مَهْلِكَ اَهْلِهٖ وَاِنَّا لَصٰدِقُوْنَ ( النمل: ٤٩ )
Qaaloo taqaasamoo billaahi lanubaiyitannahoo wa ahlahoo summaa lanaqoolana liwaliy yihee maa shahidnaa mahlika ahliee wa innaa lasaadiqoon (an-Naml 27:49)
English Sahih:
They said, "Take a mutual oath by Allah that we will kill him by night, he and his family. Then we will say to his executor, 'We did not witness the destruction of his family, and indeed, we are truthful.'" (An-Naml [27] : 49)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അവരന്യോന്യം പറഞ്ഞു: ''നിങ്ങള് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പേരില് സത്യം ചെയ്യുക, 'സ്വാലിഹിനെയും കുടുംബത്തെയും നാം രാത്രി കൊന്നുകളയു'മെന്ന്. എന്നിട്ട് അവന്റെ അവകാശിയോട് തന്റെ ആള്ക്കാരുടെ നാശത്തിന് ഞങ്ങള് സാക്ഷികളായിട്ടില്ലെന്നു ബോധിപ്പിക്കണം. തീര്ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങള് സത്യം പറയുന്നവരാണെന്നും.'' (അന്നംല് [27] : 49)

അവനെ(സ്വാലിഹിനെ)യും അവന്റെ ആളുകളെയും നമുക്ക് രാത്രിയില് കൊന്നുകളയണമെന്നും പിന്നീട് അവന്റെ അവകാശിയോട്, തന്റെ ആളുകളുടെ നാശത്തിന് ഞങ്ങള് സാക്ഷ്യം വഹിച്ചിട്ടില്ല, തീര്ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങള് സത്യം പറയുന്നവരാകുന്നു എന്ന് നാം പറയണമെന്നും നിങ്ങള് അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ പേരില് സത്യം ചെയ്യണം എന്ന് അവര് തമ്മില് പറഞ്ഞുറച്ചു.
