ضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الذِّلَّةُ اَيْنَ مَا ثُقِفُوْٓا اِلَّا بِحَبْلٍ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَحَبْلٍ مِّنَ النَّاسِ وَبَاۤءُوْ بِغَضَبٍ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَسْكَنَةُ ۗ ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا يَكْفُرُوْنَ بِاٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ وَيَقْتُلُوْنَ الْاَنْبِۢيَاۤءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّۗ ذٰلِكَ بِمَا عَصَوْا وَّكَانُوْا يَعْتَدُوْنَ ( آل عمران: ١١٢ )
Duribat 'alaihimuz zillatu aina maa suqifooo illaa bihablim minal laahi wa hablim minan naasi wa baaa'oo bighadabim minallaahi wa duribat 'alaihimul maskanah; zaalika bi-annahum kaanoo yakfuroona bi Aayaatil laahi wa yaqtuloonal Ambiyaaa'a bighairi haqq; zaalika bimaa 'asaw wa kaanoo ya'tadoon (ʾĀl ʿImrān 3:112)
English Sahih:
They have been put under humiliation [by Allah] wherever they are overtaken, except for a rope [i.e., covenant] from Allah and a rope [i.e., treaty] from the people [i.e., the Muslims]. And they have drawn upon themselves anger from Allah and have been put under destitution. That is because they disbelieved in [i.e., rejected] the verses of Allah and killed the prophets without right. That is because they disobeyed and [habitually] transgressed. (Ali 'Imran [3] : 112)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അല്ലാഹുവില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള ഒരവലംബവും ജനങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള എന്തെങ്കിലും അവലംബവും കിട്ടുന്നതൊഴികെ, അവര്‍ എവിടെയായിരുന്നാലും അപമാനം അവരില്‍ വന്നുപതിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അവര്‍ അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ കോപത്തിനിരയാവുകയും അവര്‍ക്കുമേല്‍ ഹീനത്വം വന്നുവീഴുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. അവര്‍ ദൈവിക ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളെ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞതിനാലും അന്യായമായി പ്രവാചകന്മാരെ കൊന്നുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നതിനാലുമാണിത്. അവരുടെ ധിക്കാരത്തിന്റെയും അതിക്രമത്തിന്റെയും ഫലവും. (ആലുഇംറാന്‍ [3] : 112)
1 Abdul Hameed/Parappoor (അബ്ദുല്‍ ഹമീദ് & പറപ്പൂര്‍)
നിന്ദ്യത അവരില്‍ അടിച്ചേല്‍പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; അവര്‍ എവിടെ കാണപ്പെട്ടാലും. അല്ലാഹുവില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള പിടികയറോ, ജനങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള പിടികയറോ മുഖേനയല്ലാതെ (അവര്‍ക്ക് അതില്‍ നിന്ന് മോചനമില്ല.) അവര്‍ അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ കോപത്തിന് പാത്രമാകുകയും, അവരുടെ മേല്‍ അധമത്വം അടിച്ചേല്‍പിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. അവര്‍ അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങള്‍ തള്ളിക്കളയുകയും, അന്യായമായി പ്രവാചകന്മാരെ കൊലപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നതിന്‍റെ ഫലമത്രെ അത്. അവര്‍ അനുസരണക്കേട് കാണിക്കുകയും, അതിക്രമം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തതിന്‍റെ ഫലമത്രെ അത്.
