وَلَقَدْ اَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ رُسُلًا اِلٰى قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَاۤءُوْهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنٰتِ فَانْتَقَمْنَا مِنَ الَّذِيْنَ اَجْرَمُوْاۗ وَكَانَ حَقًّاۖ عَلَيْنَا نَصْرُ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ( الروم: ٤٧ )
Wa laqad arsalnaa min qablika Rusulan ilaa qawmihim fajaaa'oohum bil baiyinaati fantaqamnaa minal lazeena ajramoo wa kaana haqqan 'alainaa nasrul mu'mineen (ar-Rūm 30:47)
English Sahih:
And We have already sent messengers before you to their peoples, and they came to them with clear evidences; then We took retribution from those who committed crimes, and incumbent upon Us was support of the believers. (Ar-Rum [30] : 47)

നിനക്കുമുമ്പു നാം നിരവധി ദൂതന്മാരെ അവരുടെ ജനതയിലേക്ക് അയച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. അവര്‍ വ്യക്തമായ തെളിവുകളുമായി അവരുടെ അടുത്തുചെന്നു. അപ്പോള്‍ പാപം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചവരോട് നാം പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്തു. സത്യവിശ്വാസികളെ സഹായിക്കുകയെന്നത് നമ്മുടെ ബാധ്യതയാണ്. (അര്‍റൂം [30] : 47)

നിനക്ക് മുമ്പ് പല ദൂതന്മാരെയും അവരുടെ ജനതയിലേക്ക് നാം നിയോഗിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. എന്നിട്ട് വ്യക്തമായ തെളിവുകളും കൊണ്ട് അവര്‍ (ദൂതന്‍മാര്‍) അവരുടെയടുത്ത് ചെന്നു. അപ്പോള്‍ കുറ്റകരമായ നിലപാട് സ്വീകരിച്ചവരുടെ കാര്യത്തില്‍ നാം ശിക്ഷാനടപടി സ്വീകരിച്ചു. വിശ്വാസികളെ സഹായിക്കുക എന്നത് നമ്മുടെ ബാധ്യതയായിരിക്കുന്നു.
