وَاِذْ يَتَحَاۤجُّوْنَ فِى النَّارِ فَيَقُوْلُ الضُّعَفٰۤؤُ لِلَّذِيْنَ اسْتَكْبَرُوْٓا اِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًا فَهَلْ اَنْتُمْ مُّغْنُوْنَ عَنَّا نَصِيْبًا مِّنَ النَّارِ ( غافر: ٤٧ )
Wa iz yatahaaajjoona fin Naari fa-yaqoolud du'afaaa'u lillazeenas takbarooo innaa kunnaa lakum taba'an fahal antum mughnoona annaa naseebam minan Naar (Ghāfir 40:47)
English Sahih:
And [mention] when they will argue within the Fire, and the weak will say to those who had been arrogant, "Indeed, we were [only] your followers, so will you relieve us of a share of the Fire?" (Ghafir [40] : 47)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
നരകത്തില്‍ അവര്‍ അന്യോന്യം കശപിശ കൂടുന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് ഓര്‍ത്തുനോക്കൂ. അപ്പോള്‍ ഭൂമിയില്‍ ദുര്‍ബലരായിരുന്നവര്‍ കേമന്മാരായി നടിച്ചിരുന്നവരോടു പറയും: ''തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങള്‍ നിങ്ങളെ പിന്‍പറ്റിക്കഴിയുകയായിരുന്നു. അതിനാല്‍ ഞങ്ങളെ ഈ നരകശിക്ഷയില്‍ നിന്ന് അല്‍പമെങ്കിലും രക്ഷിക്കാന്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കാകുമോ?'' (ഗാഫിര്‍ [40] : 47)

നരകത്തില്‍ അവര്‍ അന്യോന്യം ന്യായവാദം നടത്തുന്ന സന്ദര്‍ഭം (ശ്രദ്ധേയമാകുന്നു.) അപ്പോള്‍ ദുര്‍ബലര്‍ അഹംഭാവം നടിച്ചവരോട് പറയും: തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങള്‍ നിങ്ങളെ പിന്തുടര്‍ന്ന് ജീവിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. അതിനാല്‍ നരകശിക്ഷയില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള വല്ല വിഹിതവും ഞങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് ഒഴിവാക്കിത്തരാന്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് കഴിയുമോ?
