وَقَالُوْا لَوْ شَاۤءَ الرَّحْمٰنُ مَا عَبَدْنٰهُمْ ۗمَا لَهُمْ بِذٰلِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ اِنْ هُمْ اِلَّا يَخْرُصُوْنَۗ ( الزخرف: ٢٠ )
waqālū
وَقَالُوا۟
And they say
അവര് പറയുകയും ചെയ്തു
law shāa l-raḥmānu
لَوْ شَآءَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ
"If had willed the Most Gracious
പരമകാരുണികന് ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കില്
mā ʿabadnāhum
مَا عَبَدْنَٰهُمۗ
we would not have worshipped them" we would not have worshipped them"
ഞങ്ങളവരെ ആരാധിക്കയില്ലായിരുന്നു
mā lahum
مَّا لَهُم
Not they have
അവര്ക്കില്ല
bidhālika
بِذَٰلِكَ
about that
അതിനെപ്പറ്റി
min ʿil'min
مِنْ عِلْمٍۖ
any knowledge
ഒരറിവും
in hum
إِنْ هُمْ
Nothing they (do)
അവരല്ല
illā yakhruṣūna
إِلَّا يَخْرُصُونَ
but lie
മതിപ്പിടുക (ഊഹിച്ചു പറയുക)യല്ലാതെ
Wa qaaloo law shaaa'ar Rahmaanu maa 'abadnaahum; maa lahum bizaalika min 'ilmin in hum illaa yakhrusoon (az-Zukhruf 43:20)
English Sahih:
And they said, "If the Most Merciful had willed, we would not have worshipped them." They have of that no knowledge. They are not but misjudging. (Az-Zukhruf [43] : 20)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
ഇക്കൂട്ടര് പറയുന്നു: ''പരമകാരുണികനായ അല്ലാഹു ഇച്ഛിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കില് ഞങ്ങളൊരിക്കലും അവരെ പൂജിക്കുമായിരുന്നില്ല.'' സത്യത്തിലിവര്ക്ക് അതേപ്പറ്റി ഒന്നുമറിയില്ല. വെറും അനുമാനങ്ങള് മെനഞ്ഞുണ്ടാക്കുകയാണിവര്. (അസ്സുഖ്റുഫ് [43] : 20)
