وَلَقَدْ اٰتَيْنَا بَنِيْٓ اِسْرَاۤءِيْلَ الْكِتٰبَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ وَرَزَقْنٰهُمْ مِّنَ الطَّيِّبٰتِ وَفَضَّلْنٰهُمْ عَلَى الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ۚ ( الجاثية: ١٦ )
walaqad ātaynā
وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا
And certainly We gave
തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നാം കൊടുക്കുകയുണ്ടായി
banī is'rāīla
بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
(the) Children of Israel (the) Children of Israel
ഇസ്രാഈല്‍ സന്തതികള്‍ക്കു
l-kitāba
ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
the Book
വേദഗ്രന്ഥം
wal-ḥuk'ma
وَٱلْحُكْمَ
and the wisdom
വിധിയും, വിജ്ഞാനവും
wal-nubuwata
وَٱلنُّبُوَّةَ
and the Prophethood
പ്രവാചകത്വവും
warazaqnāhum
وَرَزَقْنَٰهُم
and We provided them
അവര്‍ക്കു നാം ആഹാരവും നല്‍കി
mina l-ṭayibāti
مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ
of the good things
വിശിഷ്ട (നല്ല, പരിശുദ്ധ) വസ്തുക്കളില്‍നിന്നു
wafaḍḍalnāhum
وَفَضَّلْنَٰهُمْ
and We preferred them
അവരെ നാം ശ്രേഷ്ടരാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു
ʿalā l-ʿālamīna
عَلَى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
over the worlds
ലോകരെക്കാള്‍
Wa laqad aatainaa Baneee Israaa'eelal Kitaaba walhukma wan Nubuwwata wa razaqnaahum minat taiyibaati wa faddalnaahum;alal 'aalameen (al-Jāthiyah 45:16)
English Sahih:
And We did certainly give the Children of Israel the Scripture and judgement and prophethood, and We provided them with good things and preferred them over the worlds. (Al-Jathiyah [45] : 16)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നാം ഇസ്രയേല്‍ മക്കള്‍ക്ക് വേദപുസ്തകമേകി. ആധിപത്യവും പ്രവാചകത്വവും നല്‍കി. ഉത്തമ വസ്തുക്കളില്‍ നിന്ന് അന്നം നല്‍കി. ലോകത്ത് നാമവരെ മറ്റാരെക്കാളും ശ്രേഷ്ഠരാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. (അല്‍ജാസിയ [45] : 16)
