وَلَقَدْ اٰتَيْنَا بَنِيْٓ اِسْرَاۤءِيْلَ الْكِتٰبَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ وَرَزَقْنٰهُمْ مِّنَ الطَّيِّبٰتِ وَفَضَّلْنٰهُمْ عَلَى الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ۚ ( الجاثية: ١٦ )
And certainly
وَلَقَدْ
திட்டவட்டமாக
We gave
ءَاتَيْنَا
நாம் கொடுத்தோம்
(the) Children of Israel (the) Children of Israel
بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
இஸ்ரவேலர்களுக்கு
the Book
ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
வேதங்களை(யும்)
and the wisdom
وَٱلْحُكْمَ
ஞானத்தையும்
and the Prophethood
وَٱلنُّبُوَّةَ
நபித்துவத்தையும்
and We provided them
وَرَزَقْنَٰهُم
இன்னும் அவர்களுக்கு நாம் வழங்கினோம்
of the good things
مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ
நல்ல உணவுகளை
and We preferred them
وَفَضَّلْنَٰهُمْ
அவர்களை மேன்மையாக்கினோம்
over the worlds
عَلَى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
அக்கால மக்களைவிட
Wa laqad aatainaa Baneee Israaa'eelal Kitaaba walhukma wan Nubuwwata wa razaqnaahum minat taiyibaati wa faddalnaahum;alal 'aalameen (al-Jāthiyah 45:16)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
நிச்சயமாக நாம் இஸ்ராயீலின் சந்ததிகளுக்கு வேதத்தையும், (ஞானத்தையும்,) அதிகாரத்தையும், நபிப்பட்டத்தையும் கொடுத்து மேலான உணவுகளையும் கொடுத்தோம். அன்றி, உலகத்தார் அனைவரிலும் அவர்களை மேலாக்கி வைத்தோம்.
English Sahih:
And We did certainly give the Children of Israel the Scripture and judgement and prophethood, and We provided them with good things and preferred them over the worlds. ([45] Al-Jathiyah : 16)
