اِنَّا بَلَوْنٰهُمْ كَمَا بَلَوْنَآ اَصْحٰبَ الْجَنَّةِۚ اِذْ اَقْسَمُوْا لَيَصْرِمُنَّهَا مُصْبِحِيْنَۙ ( القلم: ١٧ )
innā balawnāhum
إِنَّا بَلَوْنَٰهُمْ
Indeed We have tried them
നിശ്ചയമായും നാം അവരെ പരീക്ഷണം ചെയ്തിരിക്കയാണ്
kamā balawnā
كَمَا بَلَوْنَآ
as We tried
നാം പരീക്ഷണം ചെയ്തതുപോലെ
aṣḥāba l-janati
أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ
(the) companions (of) the garden
തോട്ടക്കാരെ
idh aqsamū
إِذْ أَقْسَمُوا۟
when they swore
അവര് സത്യം ചെയ്ത സന്ദര്ഭം
layaṣrimunnahā
لَيَصْرِمُنَّهَا
to pluck its fruit
നിശ്ചയമായും അവര് അത് മുറിച്ചെടുക്കും (ഫലം പറിക്കും) എന്ന്
muṣ'biḥīna
مُصْبِحِينَ
(in the) morning
അവര് പ്രഭാതവേളയിലായിരിക്കെ
Innaa balawnaahum kamaa balawnaaa As-haabal jannati iz 'aqsamoo la-yasri munnahaa musbiheen (al-Q̈alam 68:17)
English Sahih:
Indeed, We have tried them as We tried the companions of the garden, when they swore to cut its fruit in the [early] morning (Al-Qalam [68] : 17)

ഇവരെ നാം പരീക്ഷണ വിധേയരാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. തോട്ടക്കാരെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചപോലെ. തോട്ടത്തിലെ പഴങ്ങള് പ്രഭാതത്തില് തന്നെ പറിച്ചെടുക്കുമെന്ന് അവര് ശപഥം ചെയ്ത സന്ദര്ഭം! (അല്ഖലം [68] : 17)
