وَاِذَا قُرِئَ الْقُرْاٰنُ فَاسْتَمِعُوْا لَهٗ وَاَنْصِتُوْا لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُوْنَ ( الأعراف: ٢٠٤ )
wa-idhā quri-a
وَإِذَا قُرِئَ
And when is recited
ഓതപ്പെട്ടാല്
l-qur'ānu
ٱلْقُرْءَانُ
the Quran
ക്വുര്ആന്
fa-is'tamiʿū
فَٱسْتَمِعُوا۟
then listen
നിങ്ങള് കേള്വി (ചെവി) കൊടുക്കുവിന്, ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു കേള്ക്കുവിന്
lahu
لَهُۥ
to it
അതിലേക്കു, അതിനെ
wa-anṣitū
وَأَنصِتُوا۟
and pay attention
അടങ്ങുകയും (മൗനമായിരിക്കയും) ചെയ്വിന്
laʿallakum
لَعَلَّكُمْ
so that you may
നിങ്ങളായേക്കാം, ആകുവാന്വേണ്ടി
tur'ḥamūna
تُرْحَمُونَ
receive mercy
നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് കരുണ ചെയ്യപ്പെടും.
Wa izaa quri'al Quraanu fastami'oo lahoo wa ansitoo la 'allakum turhamoon (al-ʾAʿrāf 7:204)
English Sahih:
So when the Quran is recited, then listen to it and pay attention that you may receive mercy. (Al-A'raf [7] : 204)
