كَدَأْبِ اٰلِ فِرْعَوْنَۙ وَالَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْۚ كَذَّبُوْا بِاٰيٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ فَاَهْلَكْنٰهُمْ بِذُنُوْبِهِمْ وَاَغْرَقْنَآ اٰلَ فِرْعَوْنَۚ وَكُلٌّ كَانُوْا ظٰلِمِيْنَ ( الأنفال: ٥٤ )
Kadaabi Aali Fir'awna wallazeena min qablihim; kazzaboo bi Aayaati Rabbihim faahlaknaahum bizunoobihim wa aghraqnaa Aala Fir'awn; wa kullun kaanoo zaalimeen (al-ʾAnfāl 8:54)
English Sahih:
[Theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them. They denied the signs of their Lord, so We destroyed them for their sins, and We drowned the people of Pharaoh. And all [of them] were wrongdoers. (Al-Anfal [8] : 54)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
ഫറവോന് സംഘത്തിനും അവര്ക്കു മുമ്പുള്ളവര്ക്കും സംഭവിച്ചതും ഇതുപോലെത്തന്നെയാണ്. അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ നാഥന്റെ പ്രമാണങ്ങളെ തള്ളിപ്പറഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോള് അവരുടെ പാപങ്ങളുടെ പേരില് നാം അവരെ നശിപ്പിച്ചു. ഫറവോന് സംഘത്തെ മുക്കിക്കൊന്നു. അവരൊക്കെയും അക്രമികളായിരുന്നു. (അല്അന്ഫാല് [8] : 54)

ഫിര്ഔന്റെ ആളുകളുടെയും അവരുടെ മുമ്പുള്ളവരുടെയും സമ്പ്രദായം പോലെത്തന്നെ. അവര് അവരുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങള് നിഷേധിച്ചുതള്ളുകയും, അപ്പോള് അവരുടെ പാപങ്ങള് കാരണമായി നാം അവരെ നശിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഫിര്ഔന്റെ ആളുകളെ നാം മുക്കിനശിപ്പിക്കുകയാണ് ചെയ്തത്. (അവര്) എല്ലാവരും അക്രമികളായിരുന്നു.
