وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُوْدُ عُزَيْرُ ِۨابْنُ اللّٰهِ وَقَالَتِ النَّصٰرَى الْمَسِيْحُ ابْنُ اللّٰهِ ۗذٰلِكَ قَوْلُهُمْ بِاَفْوَاهِهِمْۚ يُضَاهِـُٔوْنَ قَوْلَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ قَبْلُ ۗقَاتَلَهُمُ اللّٰهُ ۚ اَنّٰى يُؤْفَكُوْنَ ( التوبة: ٣٠ )
Q qaalatil yahoodu 'Uzairunib nul laahi wa qaalatin Nasaaral Maseehub nul laahi zaalika qawluhum bi afwaahihim yudaahi'oona qawlal lazeena kafaroo min qabl; qatalahumul laah; annaa yu'fakoon (at-Tawbah 9:30)
English Sahih:
The Jews say, "Ezra is the son of Allah"; and the Christians say, "The Messiah is the son of Allah." That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before [them]. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded? (At-Tawbah [9] : 30)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
യഹൂദര് പറയുന്നു, ഉസൈര് ദൈവപുത്രനാണെന്ന്. ക്രൈസ്തവര് പറയുന്നു, മിശിഹാ ദൈവപുത്രനാണെന്ന്. ഇതെല്ലാം അവരുടെ ജല്പനങ്ങള് മാത്രമാണ്. നേരത്തെ സത്യത്തെ നിഷേധിച്ചവരെപ്പോലെത്തന്നെയാണ് ഇവരും സംസാരിക്കുന്നത്. അല്ലാഹു അവരെ ശപിക്കട്ടെ. എങ്ങോട്ടാണ് അവര് വഴിവിട്ട് പോയിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്? (അത്തൗബ [9] : 30)

ഉസൈര് (എസ്രാ പ്രവാചകന്) അല്ലാഹുവിൻ്റെ പുത്രനാണെന്ന് യഹൂദന്മാര് പറഞ്ഞു. മസീഹ് (മിശിഹാ) അല്ലാഹുവിൻ്റെ പുത്രനാണെന്ന് ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികളും പറഞ്ഞു. അതവരുടെ വായ കൊണ്ടുള്ള വാക്ക് മാത്രമാണ്. മുമ്പ് അവിശ്വസിച്ചവരുടെ വാക്കിനെ അവര് അനുകരിക്കുകയാകുന്നു. അല്ലാഹു അവരെ ശപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. എങ്ങനെയാണവര് തെറ്റിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്?
