يَحْلِفُوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ لَكُمْ لِيُرْضُوْكُمْ وَاللّٰهُ وَرَسُوْلُهٗٓ اَحَقُّ اَنْ يُّرْضُوْهُ اِنْ كَانُوْا مُؤْمِنِيْنَ ( التوبة: ٦٢ )
yaḥlifūna
يَحْلِفُونَ
They swear
അവര് സത്യം (ശപഥം) ചെയ്യുന്നു
bil-lahi
بِٱللَّهِ
by Allah
അല്ലാഹുവില്, അല്ലാഹുവിനെക്കൊണ്ട്
lakum
لَكُمْ
to you
നിങ്ങളോട് നിങ്ങളെ
liyur'ḍūkum
لِيُرْضُوكُمْ
to please you
അവര് തൃപ്തിപ്പെടുത്തുവാന് വേണ്ടി
wal-lahu
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
അല്ലാഹുവാകട്ടെ, അല്ലാഹുവത്രെ
warasūluhu
وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ
and His Messenger
അവന്റെ റസൂലും
aḥaqqu
أَحَقُّ
(have) more right
അധികം അവകാശപ്പെട്ടവര്, അര്ഹരത്രെ
an yur'ḍūhu
أَن يُرْضُوهُ
that they should please Him
അവര് തൃപ്തിപ്പെടുത്തുവാന്
in kānū
إِن كَانُوا۟
if they are
അവരാകുന്നുവെങ്കില്
mu'minīna
مُؤْمِنِينَ
believers
സത്യവിശ്വാസികള്
yahlifoona billaahi lakum liyurdookum wallaahu wa Rasooluhoo ahaqqu ai yurdoohu in kaanoo mu'mineen (at-Tawbah 9:62)
English Sahih:
They swear by Allah to you [Muslims] to satisfy you. But Allah and His Messenger are more worthy for them to satisfy, if they were to be believers. (At-Tawbah [9] : 62)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
നിങ്ങളെ പ്രീതിപ്പെടുത്താനായി നിങ്ങളോടവര് അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ പേരില് സത്യംചെയ്തു പറയുന്നു. എന്നാല് അവര് പ്രീതിപ്പെടുത്താന് ഏറെ അര്ഹര് അല്ലാഹുവും അവന്റെ ദൂതനുമാകുന്നു. അവര് സത്യവിശ്വാസികളെങ്കില്! (അത്തൗബ [9] : 62)
