وَاِذْ قُلْتُمْ يٰمُوْسٰى لَنْ نُّؤْمِنَ لَكَ حَتّٰى نَرَى اللّٰهَ جَهْرَةً فَاَخَذَتْكُمُ الصّٰعِقَةُ وَاَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُوْنَ ( البقرة: ٥٥ )
wa-idh
وَإِذْ
And when
Dhe kur
qul'tum
قُلْتُمْ
you said
ju thatë
yāmūsā
يَٰمُوسَىٰ
"O Musa!
"O Musa
lan
لَن
Never
nuk do të
nu'mina
نُّؤْمِنَ
(will) we believe
besojmë
laka
لَكَ
in you
në ty
ḥattā
حَتَّىٰ
until
derisa
narā
نَرَى
we see
(ta) shohim
l-laha
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
Allahun
jahratan
جَهْرَةً
manifestly"
haptazi
fa-akhadhatkumu
فَأَخَذَتْكُمُ
So seized you
atëherë ju rrëmbeu
l-ṣāʿiqatu
ٱلصَّٰعِقَةُ
the thunderbolt
rrufeja
wa-antum
وَأَنتُمْ
while you
e ju
tanẓurūna
تَنظُرُونَ
(were) looking
e shihnit
Wa iz qultum yaa Moosaa lan nu'mina laka hattaa naral laaha jahratan fa akhazat kumus saa'iqatu wa antum tanzuroon (al-Baq̈arah 2:55)
English Sahih:
And [recall] when you said, "O Moses, we will never believe you until we see Allah outright"; so the thunderbolt took you while you were looking on. (Al-Baqarah [2] : 55)
Sherif Ahmeti:
Dhe kur i thatë: “O Musa, ne nuk të besojmë ty derisa ta shohim All-llahun haptazi, e atëherë juve u rrëmbeu rrufeja (zjarri) dhe ju e shihnit (Al-Baqarah [2] : 55)
