اَلَّذِيْنَ قَالُوْا لِاِخْوَانِهِمْ وَقَعَدُوْا لَوْ اَطَاعُوْنَا مَا قُتِلُوْا ۗ قُلْ فَادْرَءُوْا عَنْ اَنْفُسِكُمُ الْمَوْتَ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ ( آل عمران: ١٦٨ )
Allazeena qaaloo liikhwaanihim wa qa'adoo law ataa'oonaa maa qutiloo; qul fadra'oo'an anfusikumul mawta in kuntum saadiqeen (ʾĀl ʿImrān 3:168)
English Sahih:
Those who said about their brothers while sitting [at home], "If they had obeyed us, they would not have been killed." Say, "Then prevent death from yourselves, if you should be truthful." (Ali 'Imran [3] : 168)
Sherif Ahmeti:
Dhe ata që nuk luftuan dhe atyre të vetëve u thanë: “Sikur të na dëgjon neve (e të ktheheshin siç u kthyem ne), nuk do të mbyteshim!” thuaju: “Largoie pra vdekjen prej vetes suaj, nëse jeni të sigurt çka thoni?” (Ali 'Imran [3] : 168)
