وَاِنْ مِّنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتٰبِ اِلَّا لَيُؤْمِنَنَّ بِهٖ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهٖ ۚوَيَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ يَكُوْنُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيْدًاۚ ( النساء: ١٥٩ )
wa-in
وَإِن
And (there is) not

(the) People

l-kitābi
ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
(of) the Book
e Librit
illā
إِلَّا
but
përveç
layu'minanna
لَيُؤْمِنَنَّ
surely he believes
sigurisht do të besojë
bihi
بِهِۦ
in him
në të
qabla
قَبْلَ
before
para
mawtihi
مَوْتِهِۦۖ
his death
vdekjes së tij.
wayawma
وَيَوْمَ
And (on the) Day
E (në) Ditën
l-qiyāmati
ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ
(of) the Resurrection
e Kijametit
yakūnu
يَكُونُ
he will be
ai do të jetë
ʿalayhim
عَلَيْهِمْ
against them
kundër tyre
shahīdan
شَهِيدًا
a witness
dëshmitar.
Wa im min Ahlil Kitaabi illaa layu'minanna bihee qabla mawtihee wa Yawmal Qiyaamati yakoonu 'alaihim shaheedaa (an-Nisāʾ 4:159)
English Sahih:
And there is none from the People of the Scripture but that he will surely believe in him [i.e., Jesus] before his death. And on the Day of Resurrection he will be against them a witness. (An-Nisa [4] : 159)
Sherif Ahmeti:
Nuk ka asnjë nga ithtarët e librit vetëm se ka për t’i besuar atij (Isait) para vdekjes së vet, e në ditën e gjykimit ai dëshmon kundër tyre (An-Nisa [4] : 159)
